Preview
Belize host French Guyana in the CONCACAF Nations League on Saturday, October 3, with kick-off at 10:00 p.m. ET. Goalorithm’s model makes Belize’s win the most likely of the three outcomes, but its estimates leave a substantial chance of either a draw or a French Guyana win.
The fixture is at FFB Stadium, Belmopan. The model’s view is therefore a lean towards Belize rather than a decisive separation: its likeliest result is a home win, while the draw remains a close alternative in the outcome probabilities.
What the model expects
The probabilities are estimates. The model gives Belize 38.9%, a draw 33.8% and French Guyana 27.3%. Belize leads the model’s outcome ordering, but the distribution keeps all three results in play; the numbers do not point to an overwhelming favourite.
For goals, the model has over 2.5 goals at 49.2% and under 2.5 goals at 50.8%. Those estimates place the total-goals outlook close to even, with the under marginally more likely. The separate both-teams-to-score projection is 53%; the chance at least one side fails to score is 47%. That second figure does not mean the model expects a goalless draw: it covers any match in which one or both teams do not score.
Expected goals are 1.5 for Belize and 1.2 for French Guyana. The leading exact-score projection is 1-1 (11.8%), followed by 1-0 (10.5%) and 0-1 (8.5%). No individual score accounts for a large share of the model’s forecast, leaving the broad outcome probabilities more informative than any single scoreline. The model’s central expectation is a narrow contest, with room for either side to turn that small edge into a win.
